Tony Hughes, Ginetta G50 - Car 20
Tony is now in his 4th season with Speedworks, which is also his 4th season in motor racing. Tony has competed in the Mazda Mx5 Championship, Ginetta G20 Championship where he progressed to the Ginetta G50 Championship, here he had multiple Chairmans Cup wins.  Tony is now progressing onto the British Touring Car platform for 2011.

Piers Johnson, Corvette Z06R
Piers has had a long and varied career in International sportscar racing. He has competed in the British GT in various marques such as Ginetta, Lamborghini, Mosler and TVR, FIA GT1 and GT3 in an Aston Martin as well as the Le Mans series and Le Mans 24hrs in a TVR. This year Piers joins Speedworks in the Corvette Z06R in British GT3.


Ron Johnson, Corvette Z06R
Ron started his racing career relatively late in life. He started out in the Caterham Academy and grew through the ranks to Roadsport B, the Roadsport A and finally Caterham R400. When this series was discontinued he moved over to sportscar racing where he raced the Ginetta G50 for Speedworks in the G50 Cup and then progressed onto British GT last year. This year Ron is joining Piers Johnson in the Corvette Z06R for British GT3.


Christian Dick, Ginetta G50 - Car 48
Speedworks team principal who raced and won the British GT4 Championship in 2010. Christian started racing at the age of 10 in Ministox, he then progressed to full circuits where he has competed in the XR Challenge, Pick up trucks, Eurocar V6, Eurocar V8, VSR V8, North West Sports and Saloons, Mazda Mx5, FIA GT3, Ginetta G20, Ginetta G50, Historic Masters series. www.speedworksmotorsport.com


Neil Merry, Sunbeam Tiger - Car 91
Neil has been with Speedworks since the team started in October 2005. Prior to this he had competed in ERA single seaters. With Speedworks he has raced in the Mazda Mx5 Championship, Ginetta G20 and is now concentrating on historic racing running the Sunbeam Tiger in the Historic Masters Series and is entering his 1973 Corvette C3 into the Heritage Touring Car Championship.


Jamie Stanley,
Jamie had his first race in a formula ford in 2005, by 2008 he moved to the Lotus Elise Trophy and the Britcar Championship and competed successfully in both. Jamie joined Speedworks to complete his 2010 season in the British GT4 Championship, winning outright.  2011 is set to be an exciting year for Jamie.
